Discovery Woods? Is it real?

Does anyone have a contact or address for Discovery Woods? I'm trying to enroll my child in summer camp there, but they do not list a phone number ANYWHERE on their website. I got a phone number off of an old DCUM post and it leads to a FAX machine. Leaving information on their contact forms has not led to any response. I know it's somewhere near Vienna, but it would be helpful just to have a real street address so I can figure out whether the commute is do-able over the summer. I've heard such wonderful things about it, but their administration seems awfully unprofessional.

Any thoughts/ideas? I'd love to hear especially from current Discovery Woods parents if they experience similar administrative difficulties once their children are enrolled.

It's very close to Wolf Trap.

We also struggled with communication during the application process. My understanding is that it's much better once you are enrolled. Mostly because you are there so much. Not 100% sure though.

Hmm...they have been going through that "transition phase" for quite a while now.

OP - they were actually a home based daycare not a daycare center but maybe that's the transition they are trying to make?

I am the parent of two discovery woods children. One is there now (aged 3) and one was there for preschool and returns for summer camps (now age 7.5). It’s all true. Well, most of it.
- Yes, we stink at getting back to interested families;
- Yes, the school is in transition from a family day home to a center;
- Yes, the location is near wolf trap – more specifically main location is near the intersection of Towlston Road and Route 7. (Since it’s still a family day home, the address is not published widely.)
- Yes, it’s an amazing place for families interested in nature, reggio, play-based learning.
