Does your child with APD always ask for the volume to be turned up?

| My DS is 7. Currently has an ADHD diagnosis. We were waiting until age 7 to test for APD (suspected he also has this). He has had his hearing tested numerous times before by an audiologist (not for APD) and it's been fine. He, however, is always asking me to turn up the volume on his radio, the car radio, TV etc...). To me they are very loud. DS swears he cannot hear them. I suspect it's b/c of a lag in processing time, but I'm not sure. |

We have an ADHD kid that frequently has volume up at uncomfortable levels. We have never pursued the any APD issue though.

| Our Apd kid is always asking for us to turn off the radio. Hard for dc to talk to us and process background noise. |
