car seat donations?

Does anyone know if there is a local charity that accepts gently used infant carseats? Our snugride is in great shape after two kids; it was used for only 11 months total, and the second kid's four months barely count since he hated the car and the seat so much.

We got our money's worth, so I'd love to donate it rather than sell it.

Would also love to get suggestions for good places to donate maternity wear and baby toys/clothes.

Is there an organization nearby that does the carseat installations? In Montgomery County there is a program that does the carseat checks and I believe they will accept lightly used carseats and give them to a family that cannot afford them. It was such a great service as a new parent to have someone install and check our carseats that we donated a small amount and also plan to donate our carseats to them.
