Fairfax County SACC and AAP Centers

| Question for AAP Center parents that use Fairfax County SACC -- do you know how placement works if your child moves from a base school (as a 2nd grader where he is in after school SACC) and moves to an AAP Center for 3rd grade? I know the SACC wait lists can be long (depending on the specific school). |

| Your kid can stay in SACC at the base school and the bus will take him there after school each day. |

| yes, you can stay at base school SACC if you want to. you can also call SACC asking for transferring to AAP SACC. we did it with my 3rd-grade son. the transferring was amazingly fast, because you are going to stand in a different list from the other kids waiting for SACC with AAP as their base school or kids who have never been with SACC before. |

| Thank you both! We would probably opt for AAP SACC as it would be easier for after-school activities that are held in the school. |
