Small things that you have done for yourself to get your personal rhythm back?

Getting my body back was a big boost for me bc I felt like my old self again. Having all the mommy weight really took a toll on me and I felt frumpy as a result.

I also make time for my family and friends a couple of times a week and get out of the house.

Working out (when possible -- had to actually sign up for classes so I would be committed and wouldn't back out) and actually finding time to get my hair cut / colored on a regular(ish) basis. Amazing what those two things will do for your self-esteem!

Having more sex even if initially I didn't feel like it

Regular pampering - manis, pedis, etc.

Working out and staying fit. Buying some nice underwear and bras after my second baby, even buying a "sexier" nursing bra - impractical yes but it helped!

Forcing myself to do things like go to the occasional work happy hour even I want to go home. I really lost my network when I became a mom and it's important to connect to people outside of work, family.

Splurging on things (not major splurges) like a handbag, just for me, occasionally.
