Trump found Guilty on all charges!

Maybe, maybe not. Michael is going to be fully investigated no matter what he posts now.

Yeah, Michael's about to go through some things. It's an incredibly dumb thing to do, assuming that the two Michaels are even the same person.

There should be consequences for this. He’s wasting people’s time and money.

This hoax only lasted a few hours. It's actually a bit chilling because so many people ran with it with zero verification or skepticism, including some Trumplicans on this thread. It should give us all pause and is a small preview of what is to come in the lead up to the election.

Has it been determined that this was a hoax?
One would think that would have been determined before the judge sent the letter......

We raised $51M in April compared to orange man's $76M that month.

Then orange man raised $141M in May. Another $200M in the last three days.

DNC hasn't released May yet. Maybe we'll bounce back. I'm getting a horrible feeling here.

eh.. most of that will be going to pay Trump's legal bills rather than actually running the campaign for any R.

How expensive do you think lawyers are?!?

Not 100% confirmed yet but "Media efforts to locate the poster indicated that the post likely came from an account associated with someone who appears to be a regular troll of the New York court system’s social media pages." The letter was sent to the attorneys by the judge!

Under New York criminal law, a defendant can move to vacate a verdict on the basis of juror misconduct if and only if he can prove, by a preponderance of the evidence, that the misconduct not only occurred but created a substantial risk of prejudice.

I'm not a legal eagle, and don't know if a juror telling his cousin that Trump is getting convicted ahead of the verdict being announced amounts to juror misconduct that meets this threshold.

I would bet a lot that this is a MAGA attempt to get trump a mistrial.

I doubt that - if this guy was MAGA why would he now be revealing himself as a professional troll? I think he's just an idiot.

Trump's lawyers? They work from free, right?

The Trump campaign had spent ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS on lawyers as of early 2024, before any trials began.

I think that the judge was right in sending that letter to all concerned. If it had turned out that it was real and the judge knew about it but kept that quiet, all hell would've broken loose. This gives both sides the opportunity to vet the concern (in addition to the judge).

Lol. What's wrong? You want some of those contributions to go to actual campaigning instead of to lawyers?
