Anyone believe that London Olympics 2012 will be another 9-11?

I went to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, when 9/11 was still fresh in our minds. Yes, we were scared, but we put our faith in the security, and all was fine. You can't live life in fear.
Anonymous
No but anything is possible. There are more strategic targets, like infrastructure command centers. (I used to cover security issues as a journalist.)

I have no doubt some evildoers would like to, but I m not worried about it. Terrorists are remarkably ineffective these days. I'm not even sure what people are afraid of.

No.

It is ridiculous to spend one's time worrying about things over which one has no control.

until something devastating occurs again, which it will . . . And then you're kicking yourself.

I have no doubt they will be a disaster, but probably not this kind of disaster.

OP here -

But what of the odd symbolism brought up in that unusually long segment?

I am now aware of the "eye of Horus," which presents itself in logos, in magazine ads where models cover one eye, in the music industry, etc. And then to see the 2012 mascots with one eye?

incredibly odd

And this emphasis on ETs? It's everywhere!

I'm not into the whole Zionist discussion, but I am now convinced that the logo for the London Olympics does indeed spell out Zion.

WTH?

such odd use of ritual, according to those who feed into this conspiracy frenzy

And yet, slowly I'm becoming convinced that it's true!

Someone sent me this website - http://vigilantcitizen.com - to which I'm glued!

The dude is incredibly insightful and writes well. So I can't categorize this as a junk site. Plus, he does his research. I love his forum!

I'd ask you to pull me from the ledge, but I'm not sure I want to leave it just yet! And while I often question these new beliefs, I just can't return to "normal."

For doing or failing to do what, exactly??

Why would I be kicking myself? For not preventing a terrorist attack at the Olympics? I'd say that's pretty well out of my hands.

Or to get even more conspiracy theory-ist here, what if London 2012 is a ruse? If that is where law enforcement has focused it's attention...other targets will be unprotected...

If its on the dollar bill, it MUST be true!

London is the capital of England and there will be unprecedented security all over. However, this may make a terrorist think that security is lax in Wash., D.C. and the perfect time strike. Now, you have a real problem in deciding where you are going to be during the Olympics, don't you.
