Restaurant recommendations...need to satisfy vegetarian, seafood-abstainer AND foodie!

Anonymous
Going out to dinner next weekend, and I'm at a loss for where to go. We have a vegetarian, a person who abhors seafood, a foodie type who wants a menu with meat and seafood on it, and me -- 8 months pregnant.

I swear we aren't usually so difficult but it is a special occasion so we want something nice. We went to Rasika last time and it was perfect. We are happy to go into the District, or Alexandria or Arlington (we are in Clarendon).

Thanks in advance!!!!

Check out Brabo in Alexandria. Excellent food. Have your vegetarian diner request the vegetable napoleon - it won't disappoint.

My first thought was Rasika. I am a vegetarian, and it is my favorite. What about jaleo or oyamel? Or tosca? Never disappoints. Fiola I l good and the space s beautiful.

Ethiopian. Meskerem and Dukem at U st are good. For a more intimate ambiance, lalibela at logan circle is great. food is really good, especilally vegetarian and lamb options.

Zaytinya or Jaleo. Also check out Tabard Inn-- they usually have at least one good veg option.
