What type of contraception do you use? IUD feedback?

| BC pills - the generic version of Lo Ovral. I tried the Mirena IUD but I hated it. Made me feel crazy. |

| I'm pretty happy with mirena. I feel normal... no breakouts, very little PMS. I still get my periods (more's the pity), but they're normal. Not the every-three-weeks hemmorhage I used to get. |

| I had Paragard for several years with no problems. Cramping was horrible but menstrual cycle was like clockwork and no hormones to make me crazy. Didn't try Mirena because I'm finished having children. Ablation is what I did and I would highly recommend it if you're finished having children. |

| Loved mirena. Just had it out to start trying again, and started up my periods like clockwork...when I had it, I had about 2-3 weeks of spotting, and then never had a period again. Cramps also were minimal. Not sure why you would do anything else after baby! |

| I should add to my post (one right above) that I had THE WORST periods before, including major PMS and gloating. Totally gone with Mirena. The bit of hormones is local, and not like the full on effect of the pill. totally different, in my experience. not mental at all. |
