Looking for a homeschool group for a 3 year old around Kalorama

New to the idea of homeschooling: is it homeschooling if you do it with a group? Anyone in my neighborhood (Kalorama, Adams Morgan) thinking of doing this with your 3-4 year old, getting together with a few others, maybe trading off days a bit, to do interesting and challenging things based in your homes?
