I have a great glider that I don't need anymore, and would like to donate it. Here's the thing. . .I would need someone to come and pick it up. I live in a walk up. It was super expensive, so hopefully the recipient wouldn't feel like they were picking up junk (although there are a few stains.)
Any suggestions or ideas? I feel like I should know how to do this, but I am at a loss. |
Freecycle! The person taking the item knows they have to pick it up. (Of course that doesn't work if you were wedded to the idea of donating to a tax-deductible charity)
I'll take it! Where do you live, I loved my previous glider and thought we were only having one kid...not such much!
I live in Alexandria, near the masonic temple. how can I get in touch with you? Do you have an email address you wouldn't mind sharing?
annasmom@inbox.com, I can come and get it on Fri or anytime over the weekend? Feel free to email me! Thanks so much!
Will do. Thanks!
