Cosby was big/athletic/talented and dominated the faceoff X. #3 went nuclear and probably had 10+ points. Yorktown looks like they’ve come a long way since early in the season.

How often do teams cancel games on other teams during the season, and refuse to reschedule? Seems shady, but maybe this happens often. Colgan canceled the game vs. Freedom-SR on the day of the game because of an issue with refs, and now had refused to reschedule.

I watched the Yorktown v Cosby game yesterday…

It was the first time all year that I’ve seen either team. It definitely was true that Yorktown’s Fogo and goalie play is a big issue. Cosby had a big edge in both departments.

However Cosby’s offense seemed like a shell of what it was last year. They didn’t have that many weapons that could beat their man and go to the cage. They are a very solid team overall. I have them ranked 7th in the state behind (Indy, Madison, Robo, Battlefield, Yorktown, and Langley).

Cosby had no answer defensively for Yorktowns offense and transition. It seemed like anytime Yorktown got a stop on D, that All 3 of Cosby’s mids would sub in transition, as Yorktown pushed transition hard. Yorktown had at least 10 4v3 fast breaks that I saw in that game, and they capitalized on at least 7 of them.
