Yeah, he had a couple of years as a golden boy, and then... aged poorly. The weird thing is I could never really put my finger on why he got so "not hot"--wasn't like he gained weight or had bad plastic surgery or anything obvious.

Add Jude Law to this phenomenon. Maybe Leo DiCaprio (though I think in his case, it is was pretty clearly bloat/ face thickening).

McConaughey lost a ton of weight for a role (the one about the AIDS drugs) and lost his looks after that, it aged him really fast. His eyes are more sunken now, its a lot of little things.

Jude Law....it turns out jawline and hairline was a lot of his looks.

I agree that McConaughey never looked the same after losing all the weight so quickly for Dallas Buyer’s Club. He just doesn’t look healthy. It is interesting that several people mentioned here looked better when they first started out and we’re thin, but weren’t “Hollywood skinny.” See, Angelina Jolie, Minnie Driver.

Also agree about Jude Law. No one was hotter than him in The Holiday. Somehow now, he looks a little creepy, like he lives in Miami and sells time shares.

This is for those who think that Jason Momoa is not hot.

I recently was scrolling through random TV shows on PRime, and for fun, started watching an episode of Baywatch Hawaii (which I never watched when it was on). I didn't realize that it featured a young Jason Momoa. Wow. It almost hurt to look at him, in that show. He's so beautiful.

Not me, I’m only 48, but absolutely yes after Grease, Saturday Night Fever and the sequel.

Saturday Night Fever and Urban Cowboy cemented him as hot, back in the day. (I’m older than 48)

I'm 51 and always found Travolta revolting.
