I used to spend much of each episode wondering if I would rather do him or Don and the obvious answer was always BOTH

So dorky though. and such an oblong head and big nose. I don't see the appeal.
His character on the The Office is passive aggressive and he's condescending bc he's the one who isn't quirky.

I hated his character. He reminded me of those snarky guys who you would always have to watch what you say and do in front of them because you knew that they were always making fun of you behind your back.

I think that was the whole point of the show. Mission: accomplished

I don't understand all the PPs upthread proclaiming the love for Jim.

Another +1. My daughter has gotten in to The Office lately so we’ve been rewatching from season one and I just don’t find him appealing at all. Ryan the temp would be my choice for Office crush.

Clearly you don’t remember Ryan from season 4 on.

Interesting! See, I never got past season 2 of The Office when it originally ran. So, yes, season one Ryan I find crush-worthy.

I’m a Jim fan but Ryan season 1, I could understand. Check back in a few weeks though after you get further in.

YES to Thomas Shelby

I love this thread!

Thomas Shelby seems like the kind of guy who would be awesome in bed but would be horrible to have around otherwise.

Sam Malone, Cheers

When I was 13 watching this first time round, no, just a man with a lot of hair

I did too, but unfortunately the hair wasn’t real (or so they say).
