Sounds delicious! We're having clam chowder tonight, but I might put chili on the list for next weekend.
I love clam chowder. My mom used to make it and I'm so mad I never asked her for the recipe. Do you have a favorite recipe? I haven't tried to make it myself yet, but I want to.

PP here. My recipe is pretty close to this one:

Except I use 3 cans of chopped clams and only one bottle of clam juice (or if I don't have bottled clam juice, I use water). I may also put in a little more cream depending on how I'm feeling.

Would you be willing to share just the Tom Kha recipe?

my family loves meatball, tortelli and spinach soup. It's as easy as throwing it all into a pot, season and simmer. Spinach goes in at the very end

Is it a brothy soup or tomatoes or cram added?

I made this cream of sweet potato, carrot, and ginger soup last night (no cream). It needed a lot of salt to bring the flavors out, but I used unsalted, homemade chicken stock. It can be vegan/vegetarian.

Brothy. One of my sons adds siracha, but nothing is added to the pot. Let me see if I can find the original recipe.

If you don’t feel like cooking, Costco has the souper girl box of 8 soups again (only seems to carry it Jan-March).

This adaptation uses chicken meatballs, but you can use whichever you prefer, homemade or store bought.
