Rumor is revenue has fallen off a cliff recently.

Revenue is doing just fine, and the money they'll make from the sale will be exceptional. They have access to many fields, they can easily sell LSP and still have access to more fields than anyone else in NOVA

This is correct.

It will be sold - but they will still use it for awhile.

They will make a premium on that property and like most other clubs (non Rev) will do just fine without a “home” facility. Why pay to maintain a facility when Loudoun is pumping millions into new park fields that you will have first dibs on. It makes total business sense removing one of their biggest costs (maintenance) and will have little to no impact on the club itself.

will be shared with Revolution...

Revolution is a for profit. No access to public fields. Unless of course NE, Jim and his $$ can bypass the ethical and legal hoops. Is it possible?

VRSC is a registered non-profit with access to public fields. You can look this stuff up, you know.

I just did and they are a for profit.

The IRS non-profit search tool doesn’t return results that are for-profit. If you can’t understand that I don’t know what to tell you. It’s black and white.

What kind of financial engineering does it take to be a non-profit that purchases a 4-field complex for almost 20mil and still maintain non-profit status? Let alone them salaries

The non-profit did not purchase the complex.

Is it legal? Forget ethics. How do you maintain non-profit status if created and sustained by a for-profit? VYSA’s BOS allows this?

Shady dealings here. Guess you didn’t look at the numbers. My guess is this is how NE funnels some donations to be tax deductible. He only did it 2019-2022. What happened to 2023?

Other non profits own facilities. CYA owns the Fieldhouse, for instance.

Is it realistic to accept that a person starts a non-profit in 2018 after losing his real job and lives without any income/profit for the last 7 years?

Back on the pothole fields we grew up on 😂

Club sent an email. They keep the fields until 2029 but will start to parcel off portions of the property. Will be a warehouse but they emphasized not a data center. Their other push has been to start Loudoun East. Added a whole nother group of travel teams, seems like sterling/herndon?
