Supine, a play in his actual name Scupine) Halcyon She also like to use phrases from a variety of literary and historical sources (shuffle off this mortal coil; there is a time for many words, and there is a time for sleep; suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune…etc etc) Now that my mom has Alzheimer’s it’s nice to remember these and realize the gift she gave me of encouraging literacy (we used to have the word of the day calendars etc and many a dinner conversation involves getting an encyclopedia to check something)….
