You’ll never get a straight answer on this. Just go look at their websites and see how empty they are.

Saundra Davis is lying to people saying she’s an independent and dodging hard questions such as LGBTQ protections. If you lie and dodge during the campaign, you’ll lie and dodge when in office.

Maureen Brody was a participant in the January 6th riot and was even tear gassed. She is also rabidly anti-LGBTQ.

Add these republicans to the other republicans running like Harry Jackson who was arrested 3 times for beating his wife, and Cynthia Walsh who claims vaccines cause autism and you get a true basket of deplorables.

Vote wisely or you’ll end up with the worst parts of humanity doing nothing except tearing down our schools.

but yet the party this PP is advocating for single handedly did the most harm to education, especially for high needs kids, in the past 40 years.

I'm against book banning on both sides - so it just really irks me that the progressives do not also recognize this as book banning.

FCPS has been led by hard-left progressives on the School Board (and they hire the superintendent, who is 100% in line with their ideology).

Well, the school board is supposed to be nonpartisan. There are no Rs or Ds next to their name on the ballot.

But if they are ENDORSED by the Republicans, they are Republican. Otherwise they would not apply for the endorsement.

The Democratic candidates tell me they are Democrats, and the truly independent candidates who are not endorsed by anyone tell me they’re independent. I’d rather hear “I’m a Republican” than “I’m an independent” when I know that to be a lie.

Liar. Schools "allow" more than those five books. Those were 5 books on a much longer list that does include classics for one particular assignment.

Rs still can't make a point without LYING.

What are their plans/positions?

Cassandra’s main focus is on restoring parent engagement/input and restore a focus on academic excellence for all children.

Maureen was a PTA president at Justice HS and wants to try to eliminate wasted in the FCPS system by conducting an independent audit. She also wants to focus on low-performing schools and find solutions that actually work. She additionally will focus on academics, including an emphasis on phonics, plus coding/STEM.

Saundra Davis believes FCPS schools should be freed of politics, and focus on teaching academic subjects instead. She also wants to change the Board to allow parent voices to be heard and considered on matters affecting their children’s education.

Was this before or after she was at Jan 6th?

I don't think it's all like the D party where they apply for the endorsement - I don't think the Fairfax Rs do it the same way.
