What’s the allure of Fairfax County

I love being able to walk down to the GW parkway from my house and run on the trail. I also have a really nice commute over the Wilson bridge or through Old Town to get to my office, or metro if I prefer. What’s not to like? Neighborhoods in falls church or Arlington where we used to live were nightmares. Landlocked and horrid commutes.


But where do you take your BMW for service?

Arlington is close to some major centers of poverty. If things get real bad in the city, I’ll be glad to be further out. Those who think that’s hyperbole don’t remember DC history.
