I watched every minute of that trial and work in a creative field. Aside from people who thought they are both crazy, there wasn't a single person who sided with AH.

I don't know a single person, left or right, that thinks the jury got it wrong. When there's unanimity from the left and right, it's got to be the correct choice.

Plenty of women support Johnny Depp. This isn’t about the rule of law. Plenty of women watched the trial and decided for themselves that Amber Heard and her testimony and evidence did not appear credible. I don’t think I believe Johnny is a flawless human, but I do think she lied enough to cause the jury to turn against her. In any event, Amber won one charge herself, so it’s clear the jury didn’t just “go against women” not to mention there were two female jurors and the decision was unanimous.

Remember that the title of Heards op-ed in question said

“ I spoke up against sexual violence”

It wasn’t sufficient for her lawyers to claim that depp engaged in domestic abuse in general: hitting, shouting, gaslighting etc. They had to prove that he engaged in sexual violence specifically to claim that his defamation suit is without grounds.

I think they got it wrong. They should have thrown out both claims. They were both abusers.
