Set record on my DVD too late and I want to watch the TV version.
I think I started with Alec Baldwin and Martin Sheen talking to Leo Sicaprio about wanting /nor wanting towe be a cop. Please tell me what u missed! |

Great movie. |
| I HATED the ending. |
| Um, I can't remember exactly. One of them is undercover as a cop for the mob (although not directly, lost his father and the mobster keeps trying to take him under his wing) and the other is a cop going undercover with the dealers. I think you see one of them graduating from the academy? |
Both of them, if I remember correctly. But Damon is doing it for the mob, and Leo is asked to go undercover shortly after graduating. |

Hands down, this is one of my favorite movies. (And I tend to like subtitled indie films that my husband hates.)
Best line ever. . ."I am Irish Catholic. I can deal with shit being wrong for the rest of my life." |
| The elevator dialogue between Matt Damon and his counterpart resulted in an enduring crush on him. It is embarrasing how many times I have watched "I'm fucking Matt Damon" on youtube. |

OP here. Just finished this and it was quite a good flick!
I thought I read it was based on the Boston guy Whitey Bolger, who was also suspected of having some connection to the FBI. PenguinSix - you know random and interesting stuff - had you heard the same about Whitey? |
