DS wants a Pokemon birthday party theme. Looking to order Pokemon cupcakes for his preschool class and a cake for his birthday party.
I need about 15 cupcakes and a cake to serve 20-25 guests. Can you recommend a bakery? How much should I expect to spend on this? |
| I would simply order a cake topper. You can look on Ebay for a cake topper of your choice or Google cake topper and Pokemon. They send you the toppers and you apply them to the cake/cupcakes. |
| You can also make cupcake stakes by finding smaller pictures of pokemon type things ( the balls, popular characters, the logo) then print out enough on a heavier stock paper (inexpensive photo paper works great) to make double sided stakes - in your case a grand total of 30, but you have to have an even number of copies of each picture. Then take some bamboo skewers and cut them so that you have about 4 inches of skewer under the picture. Cut out the pictures so they line up (regular shapes work best) glue them to the skewers and stick them in the cupcakes. |

| I made pokemon cupcakes by simply frosting them to look like "poke balls": red on one side, white on the other, with a black line bisected by a circle in the middle. My pokemon nut loved them. |
