Holy red pepper!

I accidentally quadrupled the amount of red pepper for a crock pot recipe. Is anyone going to be able to eat this tonight? Any way to make it "milder"?

Believe it or not, add chocolate. The sweetness will negate the spicy.

It will calm down tomorrow. Sitting in the fridge always mellows things out. I know this because I love spicy and it really annoys me that recipes become more mild after a night in the fridge.

Double the rest of the recipe, if possible. Also, depending on what the dish is, serve it with yogurt or sour cream to cute the spice.

Next time, google after coming here. Everyone had a different answer and clearly, you couldn't have tried them all....
