I'm overwhelmed by the choices. I've read reviews in the NYT and on CNET, but I'd like to get some thoughts from real people.
Thanks! |
| OP here -- I just need storage, mainly for photos and videos and secondarily for music. I thought Amazon just had a cloud for music. I'll check it out. Thanks. |
| I'm confused as well. Isn't this what iCloud does for all my apple products? |
| www.crashplan.com has a great unlimited storage and family plan. I have used it for about 1 year and have my entire family on it backing up all their content automatically. It keeps deleted files and copies of each change. It is also very fast where other services limit you. |

The KILLER CrashPlan feature for me is unlimited data retention. If I backup an entire hard drive to CrashPlan, and then unplug it, the data will stay on CrashPlan’s servers indefinitely, provided I have it set to never erase data, and keep paid up on my account (which is inexpensive). |
