Quick Costco deli platter question...

Anonymous
Off the top of your head, do you know how far in advance I have to order those deli platters? 24 hours? 48? a week?

I can't find it online and no one at the store is answering.

Thanks!

Like cakes I think they have some ready to take home.

They are closed today which is why they're not answering. I don't know the answer to your question.

How are the deli platters? I am considering using them for a b-day party in Feb. Thanks. Good luck!

Last year when I was ordering deli platters for a party Costco told me they dont take orders. You just pick up,what you want from what they have available that day. This was quite a few months ago, so maybe it changed. As far as what they have, they have roll up sandwich pinwheels, spinach and Caesar salads, some pasta dishes you can bake. I forget what else.

I ordered a deli platter early last Spring - just filled out the form and said when I needed it. That day I just stopped by and picked it up from a cart filled with orders.

THe deli platter (IME) was really good. it's about the same price as getting meat/cheese from the grocery store, but it's larger/thinker than they cut there. I got lots of complements on the sandwiches. It's just meat & cheese though - you buy the lettuce, tomato, bread, etc separately.

Definitely worth the price

How interesting. It was the opposite at our Costco (the one next to Pentagon City). They don't make them unless you order. I think I ordered the day before in the store.

And it was pretty good. I used the meat/cheese one for a birthday party. Don't know how the sandwich ones are.

I know this is an old thread but I recently ordered a few Costco deli trays for parties I hosted over the holidays. I researched all over the internet before calling my local Costco and I was able to order. The menu and option to order can vary based on your location and which Costco you go to though. I found this post the most helpful: https://costcomenu.com/costco-deli/

I think its generally 48h, but I've gotten by with a little less.

I love the croissant-wiches.
