britax clearance at target

I was passing through target today - the marathon is on clearance at target.

don't wait as there was not a lot of stock left.

i picked up 1 for $134. but my understanding is each target can set their own clearance price.

They are on sale at the new Target at Columbia Heights for around 180.

I picked it up at the one near Baileys Cross Roads - they did not have many left.

The target on Jefferson Davis in Alexandria had them for the low 200s - which you will also be able to find online so not such a great deal.

The color was not my favorite - but I thought at the price I paid, I can buy a new cover and still have a great deal!

My understanding from another board I read is that the Roundabout is also on Clearance - but I have not been able to find any in stock in stores nearby.

I just ran over to the one at Bailey's and they only had one left for $188. It was the Marathon with the Brooke cover. I didn't take it because it's probably my least favorite cover. I could have lived with it at $134, but not $188. But thanks for the tip, OP. No roundabouts there. But they did have the companion for about $134.

The Target on Richmond Hwy (Groveton) had a Roundabout for $188. I was there this afternoon-I think it was brown. They also had the Marathon.

We paid a lot more for the both we have.

I'm also in search of a Companion, if anyone sees one today on clearance, can you post the location? I just called Bailey's Crossroads and they appear to be out. I'll stop by after work today, just to make sure but would appreciate any leads! Thanks!

I was at Bailey's last night at 8:30 p.m. and they had at least 2 companions. I don't know what color. But they weren't with the rest of the clearance carseats (or at least where they had been), I happened to bump into them, so maybe the person you talked to missed them. They are on the baby furniture aisle (in front of the car seat aisle) but on the opposite end (facing east). Just make sure you check both ends of that aisle.

I just noticed on albeebaby.com that they have two companion models for about $150. No shipping, probably no tax. So you might check there too.

Target in Rockville had a Companion for $140 and a Maxi Cosi convertible for $140 Reg $200 (I think). They were on teh end of an aisle on clearence. They also had new Britax models on display

I would recommend that you call your local Target if you are looking for a Marathon.

Stock was very low at the store I was at (Bailey's Crossroads). They must be clearing out getting ready for new colors.

I just left the Bailey's Crossroads Target and they have the following as of 7:30 pm Wednesday:
* 1 Britax Companion in ONYX for $99.98!!!!!
* 1 Britax Marathon in Brook for $188 (pink pattern with yellow flowers)

Both were located in their normal locations beneath the car seats on display. Also, I wouldn't bother with calling the store direct as I called this morning and was told that they did not have any in stock. The Target near Reagan airport might be another good place to try as I was told this morning that they had many Britax car seats in stock, but they did not specify any that were on sale.
