Quebec vacation?

Trying to think of a good place to do with DH and middle school kids. I think the beach/Caribbean would not be best for us, and we aren't interested in Disney. I've started to think Quebec might be fun, and we could do a trip to Niagara Falls which would be cool to see.

Has anyone been to Quebec City with kids this age? Thoughts?

We were in Quebec (Gattineau and Montreal--not QC) last summer. If your family is at all interested in camping I highly recommend camping in Gatineau Park--just about 1/2 hour from Ottowa too.

Don't go during the winter. Bitterly cold. By all means, go, just go during warmer weather!

You could do Montreal and Quebec City and even Ottawa. Niagara falls is pretty far unless you fly (about 8-9 hour drive from Montreal to Niagara).

The winter is cold but lots to do in winter ass well.
