It looks like Romney and Paul will be the only ones in the Virginia primary on March 6. If the winner gets a majority, which would seem very likely in a two-person race, it's winner-take-all. Any chance Paul can win VA?

Paul is very popular with Internet geeks. So, he should do well in northern VA. In 2008, Paul did slightly better than Romney, but both fared very poorly (McCain got 50.5% of the vote).

One wildcard is that Virginia has open primaries. That means that Democrats and Independents can vote in the Republican primary. I would urge all Democrats to vote for Ron Paul.

I think the latest poll showed Newt and Romney far ahead of the others, but who knows?

That sounds like great fun, but I think I would feel a bit guilty. My wife refuses to declare party affiliation though, so I will pass it on to her.

Gingrich acts like the only thing that matters to him is what HE thinks and Romney acts like he'll say anything YOU want. They are extremists on the communication scale.

It just occurred to me that Newt Gingrich is a Virginia resident. So, I assume that he is registered to vote there. If so, it would be fun if reporters started asking him for whom he will vote in the Virginia primary.

I don't think he will vote. He has called it a "failed primary system".

I guess "failed" means "failed to recognize my greatness".
