Trump's rambling speech today

He gives no specifics and rambles. I am curious how Trump supporters can claim this is a rational and responsive answer and then claim Harris wasn't rational and responsive to Baier yesterday.

The guy asking the question is more coherent than Trump and lays out the future Trumpflation we’re all in store for.

You can literally see Trump losing votes on these answers from the faces and reactions of people in the audience.

Yup.

(also note, the same teleprompter MAGAs were complaining about Harris is there for this, because it is a translation of what is being said for a spanish-speaking audience)

That’s as coherent an answer as I’ve heard Donald give in the last few years and he’s saying nothing. I hope the guy who asked him the question finally understands what Trump is and what the Republican Party is; I think he does. This insane old man is being propped up by the GOP, because absent the snake king, I don’t think they can get the numbers (even with him it’s iffy) to win and they’ll have to address their party’s deficits. They’re not interested in doing that; there are too many monsters waiting to be uncovered in the Republican Party.

As they should. It’s honestly as if none of these people have listened to Donald Trump talking for longer than a few words. Like when you go visit an old family member for the first time and their decline shocks you.

I thought Trump was going to have his followers grab the guy and beat him up. I think the guy thought so too. He is pretty brave.

Kudos to Univision for hosting a town hall with a real sample of voters asking real questions...unlike the one Fox News did where they failed to disclose that the audience was all Trump supporters.

Indeed. Let the people see Trump’s dementia and his vile love of political violence in all its unedited glory.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Univision audience were soft supporters though. The 56 year old Cuban American said he’s a former Republican, but he read like one of those people who wished he could still just support his old party, that they would just normal out.

It’s also offensive that Trump keeps saying that illegal immigrants are taking all the Black and Hispanic jobs. That audience did not look super impressed.

But for real what's going on?

He’s too far gone and needs a rest. Like a poorly written character from a shoddy horror film, he’ll be back to annoy us in a few days, but he can’t speak right now.

But was he ever speaking, really?

How many years would we have to go back to find an example in which he gave an informed, coherent answer to a question?

This is a great takedown video by Dave Bautista

(Though I don't love the fat shaming part of it.)
