How to negotiate windows pricing - need advice

| We're doing a home renovation which includes adding a bunch of windows. We have gotten quotes from a couple of places but I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've heard that you can expect 20-30% off of initial list prices - is that right? If you've done this, how did you get the price to come down? All the quotes we have are in the same close range so we can't use them. Or maybe I've bee hearing wrong about getting windows prices down? Thanks. |

| try home depot they are always the cheapest and can be used for a bargaining chip. FYI homedepot does a great job and gives a good 10 year warranty. |
