Does nesting kick in earlier with #2?

I'm 27 weeks and DH pointed out the other day that I am already nesting. Mind you, I don't think this ever kicked in with #1, tho that would have been a good thing!! I'm planning holidays (down to the menus) that are 5 months away and wanting to pull out and organize the baby clothes, but DH says to wait til we get closer. Does this happen earlier with #2? For those of you who've been pg a few times, is each "nesting" different? Thanks!

OP here -- PP, i DID just read that post and believe it or not, I didn't even put the two together! I'm nesting and completely clueless about it.

I'm 30 weeks and have had the sudden urge to clean all the carpets with our Steam Cleaner. Normally I'll do one room a month...this past weekend I've done 4 with plans to do the Master Bedroom sometime this week. So I think nesting does start earlier with #2. Maybe its because we already have all of our baby stuff from #1 so we need something to do?
