Kindergarten teacher gift?

Do people do this? This is my first child to enter public school. What's the scoop?

I LOVE the teacher and the aide. If so- what/how much?

If the room parents haven't mentioned a group gift, I'd get gift cards for both of them.

They haven't. How much is normal? Since it is public school it feels weird to give the amount I used to give preschool teachers (that were very underpaid).

The norm is $10 to $25 in Gift Card format (Starbucks, Michaels, Barns and Noble).

Check your hand book because at the FFX County public school in our neighborhood gifts are strictly banned. You might be able to do baked goods but I would check with the school first.

If this is the case, I would give a gift card to a store where the teacher can purchase things for the class (like a teachers store, book store, Dollar Tree, etc).
