Child therapist/psychologist recommendations for Silver Spring?

Hi -

I'm looking for recommendations for a child psychologist or therapist for our "spirited/challenging" preschooler who, it has been suggested to us, may have anxiety. BCBS would be a plus. Have considered Alvord, Baker & Associates (Dr. Raggi or Dr. O'Brien) or Ann Scheiner at Jonah Green & Associates in Kensington. (I posted on Special Needs but didn't get much.) TIA!!

Our therapist at Alvord Baker was wonderful for anxiety issues -- she is an LCSW, Betsy Carmichael. She was great with our young (8year old) daughter and her treatment was very effective.

We see Annie Scheiner for anxiety. She has been really wonderful with our daughter. With our child, she is very low key and easy going, letting her direct where things are going in session, she pushes just enough, but knows when to completely back off. I highly recommend her.

Thank you! OP here. That is good to hear. She has emailed me and offered to talk on the phone for free to answer my Qs, and she already seems helpful; I was impressed.
