Yes you prefer The New York Times which is now running cover for Nazi symbols(not swastika) in Ukraine's military, saying they are symbols of cultural heritage.

Sure because in ancient times the Varangians and Slavs who founded Ukraine were obviously all Nazis 1000 years before the Third Reich.

Anyone who's ever had runes as part of their cultural heritage is obviously a Nazi /s

The Russian Army, Wagner PMC and DPR have a much bigger internal Nazi problem than anyone else in this conflict.

Prior to the war, Ukraine’s Nazi problem was freely discussed in mainstream media. After the invasion it’s like pffft…no more.

Putin claimed that invading Ukraine was to de-nazify it. This would be like invading the United States to de-Confederate it. Ukraine is not a Nazi country any more than we are a Confederate nation.

And more internal problems than we may know?

"RIM – a globally networked Russian ultranationalist group proscribed as a terrorist entity by the US in 2020 – which trains white supremacists and neo-Nazis in its paramilitary camps. RIM was directly implicated in several bombings in Spain in November and December, acting on behalf of Russian military intelligence. It has fought in, recruited and fundraised for Russia’s war against Ukraine, and is intimately linked to Wagner, including via the latter’s openly neo-Nazi component, Task Force Rusich, which emerged from RIM’s training camps."

"Russia’s Defense Ministry said Saturday that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had ordered “volunteer detachments” to sign contracts with the military by July 1. The military has previously referred to Wagner as a “volunteer assault unit.” On Monday, the ministry said it signed its first contract with Kremlin-allied Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s Akhmat military unit. “PMC Wagner will not sign any contracts with Shoigu,” Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin said in an audio message published by his press service Saturday."

"In a new interview, Simonjan stated that she believes that Putin will soon give NATO an "ultimatum" regarding aid to Ukraine, adding that giving weapons for free "represents participation in war." "One morning we will wake up and learn that last night Vladimir Putin issued an ultimatum, saying that if the F-16 aircraft continue to attack Russian territory - or if the delivery of such and similar weapons continues - then we will consider the airfields and ports through which they come legitimate war goals," said Simonjan."

You are totally delusional or you must be getting the news from the US mainstream media. Ukrainian army in a desperate state. They have less than 10% of people needed to fight. The rest men fleeing the country, legally or illegally. People taking their 17y old boys outside of Ukraine before they turn 18 and are drafted to avoid guaranteed death. Russia is now in full production of drones identical to the one they received from Iran, and no longer relying on Iranians help. Ukraine is falling desperately and it is time to cut its losses and to stop this war to save some people.

How much does Russia pay people to spout these Putin talking points? The Russians are on the brink of collapse — that’s why they are literally bickering and finger-pointing at each other. They are so ineffective that their best “fighting force” is a bunch of mercenary convicts.

Ukraine is on the road to liberation and they have no one to thank more than President Biden. They’d be wise to remember who saved them like the French in WW2.

They've been on the brink of collapse since you started this thread. It's a very.....stable threshold.

You say this but then Zelensky gives an interview to the WSJ and says things like "let's not compare who should be grateful to whom."

TBH I’m tired of hearing all the hoopla about “Nazi” symbols on Ukrainian soldiers. First of all just using old symbols from 100 years ago does not magically make someone a “Nazi” which doesn’t even exist as a political party anywhere in the world and is just part of history. Also even assuming for the sake of argument that the Ukrainians ARE Nazis, what does that even mean if they have a Jewish president and all that stuff about the holocaust is over with and they now are willingly following a Jewish leader who is one of their own? I mean without the anti-Semitism what problem exactly is it to be a “Nazi”? They are not invading anyone and they are not trying to start any wars or put anyone in concentration camps—Russia is! So who dares who calls themselves nazi and who doesn’t? Russia is clearly the aggressor and the bad guys.

But all to say just using some old symbols does not make you a bad guy even if 100 years ago the bad guys used that symbol. That’s just Russian talking point.

So you'd be cool with your kid spouting a svastika armband then? It's just an old symbol, no need to get uptight.

What about making national heroes out of known Nazi collaborators and Jew killers like Stepan Bandera? OK with you?

No but this is very different. It would be like if your house got invaded and your kids were being killed by home invaders and instead of helping your neighbors were like “oh we can’t help he had a Nazi symbol on his notebook that MUST mean he is a nazi in Bethesda and must be the bad guy”

I mean come on it’s just stupid.

PS - show me something evil that these Ukrainian “Nazis” have actually DONE besides using old symbols people don’t like? They are freedom lovers fighting for their lives and this just smacks of an excuse not to help them

Well let's say your kid hasn't DONE anything bad but suddenly there is a big ass portrait of Himmler in his room and he says this man is a national hero and I'm gonna make everyone learn that in history books.

Mind you he hasn't DONE anything.
