TMZ DCPS version

Ten Mile Zone. At what level does it become a situation that it is no longer a school related issue in a public place? I am constantly hearing that the closest metro near various schools have become war zones but now I am hearing that Gallery Place has become a hot-spot. Unless, DCPS has moved the majority of their schools to the downtown area how does that become a DCPS related activity or incident?

Pardon me, but, is this in English?

You speak the truth!

Huh?
You mean how Gallery Place is a noted hangout for unruly DC teens after school, and there are unprovoked attacks on commuters, muggings, flash mob robberies and general punkishness going on?

12:35 and 12:40 I am glad you not like the others.

All aside from the grammar police. I understand what you're saying. TMZ reference is funny and is easily associated in this case. I too would like to know, is every group of students who are in uniform who are in public place after school hours that is being rowdy; a school problem or a person in public problem?

I was at the Takoma Park Station just last evening and apparently Coolidge had a night basketball game. Assuming the game was over many were at the Takoma Park Station and rough-housing and obnoxious language was evident. I could immediately associate them to Coolidge because of their uniforms.

So, OP are you asking do you blame the school because of their students or do you blame the individuals.

I am guessing it is an individual problem.

I can say I have seen rowdy adults on the metro too.

Even in country club Bethesda you see routy kids. Were you perfect?

rowdy

Kids can't be punished by the school when they are not in school or on a school outing. The kids at Gallery Place can't be punished by the school.

Wait -- is this post about loud, foul-mouthed black teens that loiter around Gallery Place? I think it may be. What is the question?

Why is gallery place such a hotspot for juvenille crime is it near a bunch of section 8 housing or something? Kind of weird.

I nominate this as least intelligible thread of the year.

Some of you all live in a bubble or in your own little white world. The country club reference is hilarious, I am guessing in the hood that the nearest recreation center is comparable?

@9:03, Star War fanatics are always weird and old-azz farts.

@7:07, I think you're pretty accurate and observant. Please share your experience.

22:32, You have answered the question and addressed a major concern.
