remedial jigsaw puzzles for older kids

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I thought I'd ask anyhow in case anyone has a good idea.

My son is 10, and is very smart but has a hard time with spatial reasoning and handling frustration. He's never been interested in doing puzzles of any kind. he would try, not get it right immediately and quickly give up.

He can now do puzzles with 100 to 200 pieces more easily, and is kind of interested in them -- but the contant of such puzzles is designed to appeal to much younger children (Dora, Scooby Do, Cars2 etc.) so he feels babyish.

Are there any puzzles out there that are easy (under 250 pieces) but designed to appeal to an older child?

I'd look at Ravensburger puzzles. Good toystores like Child's Play carry a variety, including 100-piece and 200-piece puzzles.

I was going to suggest Ravensburger as well. They have lots of animal and nature scenes, maps, plenty of things that could appeal to an older kid, and are great quality.
