did you leave DC for schools and how has it worked out?

never got to use DC schools, moved out when still pregnant. as for going to DC---was going for work daily. socially--just to see a few who still live in DC, but more for museums, restaurants, events--maybe once a month or two.
most people i know who work and have kids, try to find the best of everything within a 15 minute driving radius. we adapt--but sure, still miss the city from someone who grew up in the area--city/suburban both |
