| There are sometimes posers whose kids go to Highland View, but I never see anyone on here mention Highland. Very different schools, so don't get them mixed up. |

| Very dedicated, well qualified teachers. Majority Latino population, highest percentage of ESOL students in the county. Title I school (large percentage of students living below the poverty line). Lots of additional resources ($) come to the school because of Title I status. My knowledge comes from being an MCPS employee and knowing a few folks who work there or have worked there. I don't know anything about the PTA or level of parent involvement, but my instinct would be that it is fairly low based on my experience working in other similar schools in MCPS. |
