When I'm sitting/laying down, I don't have any cramping or contractions. However, as soon as I walk around a litttle, go up stairs, drive, etc.., I start cramping off and on. My physican doesn't seem to be concerned because I'm not dilated. I'm worried that it's abnormal that I cramp with activity and have very little cramping when sitting or laying down. I want to air on the side of caution because I'm so early. Anyone had a similar experience? |
I actually experienced the reverse where I would have more contractions lying down. My advice is water, water, water. I found the more water I drank the less I experienced contractions. |
sounds like braxton hicks...no big deal. Just drink lots of water. |
I had the same thing at 22 weeks... my doctor also told me to lie down (it's completely normal for them to act up more with activity and subside when you rest) and drink plenty of water. If they go away when you rest, it's nothing to worry about. |
