Teacher Gifts in Middle School

| Do you still give a holiday gift to each teacher? My thought was no. Just want to make sure I wasn't off base. Thanks |

| We did gifts in elementary school only. However, In high school my child had two great, caring teachers that made a difference in his life and education so he wanted to do gifts for them. |

| We gave a small gift from our DC to each of his teachers and other staff who we felt appreciative of (i.e, school nurse, security guard, etc.). These people are an important part of our child's life and we wish we could give more to show our appreciation. |

| My DC are in band/chorus and chose to get gift cards for their music teachers. My high schooler made cookies for her English teacher last year. I think in general, it's something you can do if you feel like giving a special teacher some recognition, but definitely less common in MS/HS than ES. |
