I live in DC now. But I am considering moving to Fairfax County or Montgomery County for schools. However I cannot find any data about acceptance to colleges for FCPS high schools.
I could not find much online... Help anyone? |
Six of one, half dozen of the other: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/class-struggle/post/montgomery-fairfax-lead-in-high-school-graduation-rates/2011/06/07/AGzz3ELH_blog.html |
Woops sorry. Those are HS graduation rates. My bad. |
| There's tons of college acceptance info available to FCPS high school families. But I don't know how someone outside that community can access the info. |
Why not post some of it here? |
| Bump |
My DD is a FCPS grad and my password doesn't work anymore to access the info -- I tried. |

Herndon http://www.fcps.edu/HerndonHS/CollegeCareerCenter/collegestats.htm I would love to see data from McLean, Langley, Madison. |
So, everyone at TJ went to either UVa or W&M? That doesn't make any sense. This would be more helpful if it they had the application rates too. What percentage of applicants were accepted. |
I think these are just that acceptation rates. It does not imply that they actually attended. |
Sheesh. What a lazy reporter's report. It's really meaningless. How many admitted; how many in the senior class; calculate %. |

For TJ class of 2011:
UVA: 298 Applied, 225 Admitted, 106 Enrolled W&M: 215 Applied, 194 Admitted, 56 Enrolled |
