Franconia Elementary School in Alexandria

We are very close to bidding on a house in the Franconia section of Alexandria.

Any feedback on Franconia Elementary School would be greatly appreciated.

Our kids are young and not yet in school. I only have information from greatschool (5 rating) and the Fairfax County school website. The school appears to be very diverse, which I think of as positive.

That must be in the Fairfax County section then, so I wouldn't refer to it as "Alexandria" -- most people think of Alexandria City, which has its own sub-optimal school system.

Also, you should define "diverse" -- it's not by any stretches an inherently positive thing. Like anything else, some schools and school systems do diversity (racial, socio-economic) diversity well, and others do not.
