visiting niece from S. America

She is 17 and would like to meet young people her age. She is Spanish speaking and is trying to learn English (she speaks a little). We live near the White Flint mall in Kensington. Any ideas of how she can go about/we can help her go about meeting people? Thanks for any ideas

Have you thought about contacting local high schools that are offering Spanish classes during the summer? Maybe one would welcome her to talk about life in South America. With luck, maybe she would be invited to get involved in social events organized around the class. Don't know if this would work but it's all I can think of! Good luck!
