Consignment stores that are good to consignors?

| Are there any consignment stores that will give the consignors (1) at least 50% of the price sold, and (2) a chance to pick up items not sold? Chic Envy in Fairfax does, but I'm looking for something in or closer to the city. I have some relatively high-end stuff that I never use (e.g., a Prada bag, Dolce & Gabbana boots), but if they don't sell, I'd rather get them back than have it donated. Yeah, I know. . . Bah, humbug! |

| Redd-X in Bethesda will just buy them from you. They'll tell you how much they'll give you, and you can take it or leave it. I really appreciate the closure and not having to worry about them again. They definitely take high end stuff. |
