Equivalent of giving a guy flowers

Anonymous
I am looking for a small (and inexpensive) gesture to show my husband how much I appreciate him. What's the equivalent of giving a guy flowers? I have a card I was planning to stuff into his work bag for him to find later in the day, but it doesn't seem like enough.

Before someone suggests sex or a blow job, all bases are already covered there.

A 6 pack of really good craft beers.

You could pre-order him lunch from somewhere and have it delivered to his office? I've done that before - I've also sent those gourmet gift baskets (which are more expensive) that are male-oriented.

Man-flowers=12 pack of his favorite beer or a nice bottle of his favorite liquor. The expensive stuff.

Haha. OP here. Your post made me laugh.

I've thought about having a nice lunch delivered to his office, but he works in a secure facility, so that won't work. Maybe I'll try the beer, but he is not into dark/hoppy/heavy or high alcohol content brews. He actually really likes Blue Moon. I am more into the crafty beers than he is.

Well, I one time asked my husband this same thing and his response was "what's wrong with flowers? I like flowers." So I actually started bringing him flowers and he really appreciated it to the point that we have regular flowers now that we pick up every time we go grocery shopping or to Costco.

There are lighter beers that are still good. Try looking into some hefeweizens.

I would not send flowers because his colleagues will think you had a fight.

..or that someone died. What's his favorite snack food that he doesn't buy for himself very often? Mine loves those extra dark pretzels so I try to track them down and make sure he has a steady supply. Or just his favorite candy bar tucked into his briefcase with a sily note.
