I recently took my 2 and 3.5 year olds to Dr. Niloo in Oakton and I just had to post that it was an amazing experience! The waiting room alone had so many awesome toys, that it was hard to pull the kids away. The staff was great with the kids and the doctor herself was WONDERFUL. It was both of my kids' first time at the dentist and she was careful to explain everything before she did anything patient and gentle way. Although my 3.5 yr old was willing to let the Dr look in her mouth and give her teeth a cleaning, my son was much less willing. She was great with him, too, because she had me hold him in my lap as I sat across from her, and by making a bridge with our laps and tilting his head back, she was able to look in his mouth and make sure there was no decay. On top of this, my kids each got a helium balloon, a token for the "gumball" machine which dispensed Jibbitz for their crocks and a goody bag with toothbrush, animal toothbrush cover, floss and toothpaste. They cannot wait to go back!!!
