I'm at a loss as to what to get that would be good - any ideas/recommendations?

My 4 year old girl is majorly into princesses and Barbies. She also loves music, her bicycle, twirly skirts, jewelry and her doll stroller. She still p,Amy's with her toy kitchen a lot.

As fat as two year old boys, I'm a long way for that point but, back in the day, anything with wheels and anything that made noise were a hit.

I'm just curious why you'd post here and not in the Parenting Forum where threads like this are already going?

Depends what you already have.

2 year old boys - trains (we prefer wooden tracks/trains), cars, trucks, Duplos or Megablocks and other building toys, toy kitchen/accessories.

4 year old girl: Legos and building toys. Toy kitchen/food (if you don't have already). Dolls, dollhouse and accessories.

Both: Blocks, Bilibos, hopper balls, outside toys (trikes and bikes, balls, scooters, PlasmaCars, etc). Don't forget helmet/pads if buying ride on toys.

Adding: Fatbrain Toys has listings for age groups/gender to give more ideas.

I have the same ages and genders. My 4 year old loves the game pretty pretty princess, her "big kid" bike, puzzles, and stickers. My son loves cars, trains, and the little tikes basketball hoop.
