Fine, then spend your life obsessing over it. Your choice.

You are obsessively trying to get people to feel permanently defeated, and it’s a black mark on your soul. It’s a shameful way to behave, even anonymously.

I want Condeleeza Rice for the next seat.

I was just thinking this the other day. Condoleeza would be awesome. The Dems would fight her even harder though. They would do anything to stop a republican from appointing the first black female. It damages their narrative too much.

Click on around the 4:00 mark to watch him throw his daughter under the bus. This is your party, Republicans. Family values, yada yada yada.

Pretty much. Even the republican / conservative women are like this. I know, my own conservative mother did not believe I was assaulted as a child and didn't do anything about it. I'm not surprised at all.

I have a cousin who has a reputation for being dramatic and has been clearly found to be lying about various things, including a sexual assault that she claimed to have witnessed that definitely did not occur. If she claimed to have been sexually assaulted, I would probably wait for evidence. I have other relatives who I would believe simply because I have known them personally for many years and have never known them to lie about stuff like this.

Most people haven't met Prof. Ford and don't have the luxury of being her close relatives or being able to automatically believe her without evidence to support her allegations. If your ultimate argument is that we should automatically believe any allegations without proof, you are wasting your time and you are living in the wrong country.

Your cousin and your perception of her have nothing to do with Christine Ford.

No one AUTOMATICALLY believed or believes her. Those who did and do - like, let’s see, Chris Wallace of FOX, stunned speechless at how credibly she presented - took information in for themselves courtesy of her testimony. Those who did and do believe Debbie Ramirez relied on not only the flawless reputations of Jane Meyer and Ronen Farrow and The New Yorker, but also the sworn statements and interviews of her fellow Yale classmates, those who knew her and Brett, including his roommates and drinking partners. Including the BigLaw partner who is now collecting death threats for demonstrating texts showing Brett feared this story emerging.

You are a deeply dishonest person. To the bone.

Where’d you go, PP with the lying cousin? Where’s your response?

But it's the only way they can keep their power. The GOP's central strategy is voter suppression because they know if everyone was able to vote, they'd lose.

You must be kidding. Condoleeza would be fine. However, she would not be considered conservative enough for you folks.

PP here. And... I'm not sure Condoleeza would stoop low enough to be a part of this administration. She has too much class and character. Remember, her expertise is Russia.

Yep. The WSJ article ended all doubt that this was a political hit. It was important enough for the FBI to send the information they discovered (thank you Leland) over as a supplemental report.

+1

CR would be fine for most Ds. But not the current GOP.

Congratulations to President Trump for nominating an eminently qualified judge for the open seat on SCOTUS.

Congratulations to Mitch McConnell for fighting for this nominee and not giving in to the angry mob that tried to derail this nomination.

Congratulations to Susan Collins for a wonderfully eloquent speech explaining, in detail, why she supported this nominee. And, congratulations to her for not succumbing to the bullying and bribes that she and other Senators were faced with.

And, congratulations to the Democrats for energizing an otherwise complacent Republican base who now have every reason to be sure to vote on or before Nov. 6.

How? I said to do what you want. Spend your life working to get Kavanaugh impeached. I really don’t give a shit what you do.

It irks you because I think most Republicans is a turd. You can pretend you disagree, but you know his finances are hinky (at best), you know he perjured about the stolen emails, you saw him lash out in a way that judges are not supposed to lash out, you know he has the puffy and ruddy appearance of someone who drinks to excess. You know he’s bad news. But you so, so want to win and you know you’re only winning with an asterisk here and that it isn’t over. We’re not going to forget about this.

You all seem to know him so well for people who don’t, um, know him.

This is a town that voted for Trump, guys. Ha ha.

I've been hearing a lot of stories like this. They are the stories about Trump that Democrats ignored in 2016. We've learned our lesson. Have the Trumpists?

I am not sure where Kavanaugh is barred but there appears to be several legitimate grounds for disciplinary sanctions by jurisdictions where Kavanaugh holds license(s). This would be an administrative proceeding (with less strict rules of evidence) with lower standard of proof than a criminal proceeding. Once he is suspended for misrepresentation to the senate and other potential violations of rules of professional conduct, he cannot serve as a justice.

This is much easier than impeachment and removal, especially the removal part which requires 2/3 of the senate.

Dream on. Not happening. You obviously don’t know much about this subject.

+1. I hate Kavanugh, but realize you don’t need a law license to be a Justice on SCOTUS. Crazy, but true.

Not pp, but let's make it a requirement then take his away.

Again, not happening. He is now Justice Kavanaugh. Time to move on.

It’s true. Game over. Mid terms people. Quit obsessing about someone that’s done. Maybe that’s why we keep losing?
