Does anyone have experience with this school? I would be interested in feedback on the english as well as the spanish immersion tracks since spanish immersion is apparently tough to get into. thanks.

We looked at it because we were interested in Spanish immersion (although we didn't get in). I liked the principal (based on one morning's Q&A), but the school facilities are noticeably old. The good news is that it's scheduled to be rehabbed in the next 5 years or so, the bad news is that probably means the kids will spend a year somewhere else while they do the work.

Actually, I believe the rehab on the school is not to begin until 2015.

My kids don't go there, yet. I live in the neighborhood so I have quizzed just about everyone I can find. Have heard mixed reviews. The principal is new and he is supposed to be good. Some people rave about the Spanish Immersion. Others, whose kids did not get into it, say that in the long run, that has been a plus since the English classes are much smaller=more attention for their kids.
