ready made non perishable gravy

Anonymous
I am supposed to supply turkey gravy for a food bank (needs to be something that is not refrigerated). Does anyone know what this is? Is it in a can or is it an envelope mix? I've always made gravy with drippings and flour, etc.

You can buy it canned, I can't remember what it's near at the store, but this time of year they will probably have big displays of it at the end of the aisle.

I will admit to buying it once in a while to put on turkey sandwiches.

yup, canned turkey gravy.

You can find it in any grocery store this time of year.

There is also the kind in an envelope that you make by adding water, butter etc. I imagine both kinds would be welcome.

Trader Joe's has it in a carton. You can also find it in glass jars in other grocery stores.
